The Obama refinance package has been running for a reasonable period of time, but is it working?
A press release published recently revealed the figures from the program up until the end of November 2009. Expectations are that the program will deliver on the promise to help between 3 and 4 million people over the coming years. The program is due to end in December 2012 and signs are that slowly but surely the program is starting to work with over 30,000 homeowners having completed a modification giving them an average $550 dollars a month saving.
