Hiking the Appalachian Trail: A Story in Postcards

On a recent snowed-in lazy day, I plopped myself on the floor in front of my shelf full of scrapbooks and started flipping through some memories. Three of the scrapbooks contained keepsakes from my six-month Appalachian Trail thru-hike, including eighteen postcards I'd mailed to my parents in Rhode Island as I walked north from Georgia to Maine.
