About a year ago, I came across an incredibly courageous and compassionate lady. Margaret Trost is the founder of " WHAT IF FOUNDATION". A non-profit organization whose goal is feeding the hungry Haitian children and adults from the impoverished St. Clare's community of Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Father Gerard Jean-Juste and a few local volunteer women co-ordinate the immense work that it takes to feed hundreds of people. I first became interested in reading the book that Margaret Trost wrote "On that day everybody ate" after I saw that Dr.Paul Farmer wrote the foreword. After reading her book , I came to really feel the desperation in the Haitian people and resolved to raise money for the cause.
