Comcast has announced plans to broadcast a totally free 3D simulcast two hours a day during five days of The Masters golf tournament coverage. Comcast is the next large home entertainment name lately to exhibit a substantial interest in 3DTV technology. CBS has previously announced their intent to show portions of NCAA March Madness coverage in 3D. Comcast's announcement has come at a particularly fortunate time.
