How-To Submit a Story – Three Easy Steps Explained

1. Logon with your user name and password
2. Click on Submit a Story – on the green bar at the top of the site
3. Add your quality, food related link in the Unique News URL, click on continue or just click on continue to write a story right on AddBlogUrl
4. You are now on your story page
1. If you have a photo upload it from your computer or the web
2. Check or Add your Story Title; make any edits
3. Select the best Category from the drop-down menu
4. Add Tags relevant to your story; a max of 120 characters
5. Each story must be at least 200 characters long – longer than that is better, less than that will not be accepted.
6. If text from your link is auto-generated in the Description field, please change it to something unique to your post here on AddBlogUrl. By doing this it makes your story search engine friendly and adds additional value to your story.
7. Spell check is enabled so we suggest you use this tool if you do not have auto spell checkers in your browser set up.
8. Once you are satisfied with your story fill in the Captcha and click on Preview and Submit.
9. Review your story; click on Modify to make changes or Submit Story to have it added to the Upcoming News queue.
10. Congratulations and thank you for adding to AddBlogUrl – Ready to add another?


• By default your story will always have one vote (yours). Get 4 more votes or noticed by AddBlogUrl Admin to have your story moved to Published News.
• You have 2 hours to edit your story upon submission, after that the story is closed to edits.
• Upcoming News = no follow link. Published News = follow link



How-To Leave a Comment

1. Logon with your user name and password
2. Search (on the green bar at the top of the site), browse categories (at the top of the site or on the right menu) or just scroll through the Published and Upcoming News links.
3. When you find a story of interest click on the story title or Discuss, this will take you to the full page view and or link to the story.
4. Read the story and visit the links if you desire more information.
5. Type in your comment (HTML is disabled), spell check, add the Captcha, click on Submit comment.
6. Once your comment is submitted you can reply, edit and delete it if you wrote the comment.
• Be positive, ask questions, interact with other AddBlogUrl members!



If You Click On…


1. Read More; this will take you to the full page view and or link to the story.


2. Save; the story will be added to your Profile Links under Saved.
1. Great way to keep track of your favorites
2. Click on Remove if you no longer want the article on your Profile Links


3. Tell a Friend; share the story with your friends by e-mail.
1. Add up to three e-mail address
2. Write a comment and click on Submit


4. Tagged; any of the tags added by the story editor, a list of all stories with that tag will be displayed.


5. Add To; at the end of Tagged a window opens with options. Click on one of the services and follow the directions to add the link.


6. Tag Cloud; get a view of the popular tags used on AddBlogUrl.


7. Live; see what AddBlogUrl member’s are adding, voting on, talking about, what’s published, queued and more.
