Listen To Live Radio Communications Online

Posted by Ramkitten 971 days ago (http://www.squidoo.com)
Being the somewhat addicted Search & Rescue volunteer that I am, I like to listen in to our county's Sheriff's scanner, including Search and Rescue frequencies, to find out what's going on before our team actually gets called out for a mission. Not to mention eavesdrop on what else is happening with law enforcement in the area. I can also listen to the action, SAR and otherwise, in Grand Canyon National Park, the Arizona Department of Public Safety, and Flagstaff Police, Fire and EMS. Find out how I do this online here...

I used to do this with the railroad radio online - just in case I would hear Mark announce something ;) It can be addicting too.

Very addicting! Today, I knew about a rescue call before it came in, so I was already dressed for it and ready. And then I knew it was being called off before I actually left the house. It's very handy. :)

Hi, thanks. Yeah, I'm just a nosy Search & Rescue girl. Well, just nosy, period.
