Do you know the difference between a preventable crash compared to a non-preventable crash? Not to many people understand the difference. Many drivers are involved in accidents because of other drivers not being responsible.
Practicing being on the defensive while driving is something many people don't do. There are so many people that are preoccupied when driving an automobile. Parents speaking and trying to control their children in the back seat, drivers speaking on the cell phone while driving and in New State that is illegal, people eating, woman putting on makeup or drivers simply not paying attention to their surroundings.

Pets and other animals.
Persons on bicycles.
Pedestrians including children.
People backing out of driveways.
Using your senses too does help with being a more defensive driver.
Hearing, touch and smell can help you protect yourself and passengers while driving too.
