This is my story of my one and only trip to the best disco in the world, Wigan Casino in a Lancashire working town back in the late 70's. Home of Northern Soul and the associated northern soul dancing. An unlikely venue for the best disco in the world admittedly but it beat New York's Studio 54 into 2nd place, what a winner.
