Vide Greniers a part of French Life

A French vide grenier, literally translated, an attic sale, is the French way of doing a car boot sale but they know how to do it in style. The whole town gets turned into an outdoor antique center and out comes the coffee, hot food and seating areas. I wouldn't be surprised to see the odd jazz band doing their thing either as everyone turns it into a bit of an event and a nice day out.

Wandering around the free roads of France going where the Sat Nav says by simply saying no to the Peage gives you a great view of France you might not otherwise see. That's exactly what I did when I drove to the UK and back from the South of France.

Living in Languedoc Roussillon also gives me a great opportunity to explore and visit the many sites of interest in this lovely part of France. Fr
